Since being first awarded to the Montreal Amateur Athletic Association Hockey Club back in 1893, 1,134 players have hoisted hockey’s Holy Grail. Over 30 nations are/have been represented in the NHL, needless to say, the Cup has been all over the world. Along with being very well traveled, the Stanley Cup has also been to some extremely odd places.

The Detroit Red Wings had back-to-back cup wins back in 1997/98, to celebrate, Steve Yzerman took a shower with it while Igor Larionov, Slava Kozlov and Slava Fetisov visited Vladimir Lenin’s tomb in Russia.
