cristoItalian astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti has been wearing her Star Trek uniform aboard the International Space Station.  She is paying tribute to one of her heroes, Kathryn Janeway, played by actress Kate Mulgrew on Star Trek:Voyager.  Cristoforetti tweeted this last Friday: “‘There’s coffee in that nebula’ … ehm, I mean… in that #Dragon,”.  She was looking out the window of the orbiting outpost at the Dragon space capsule that arrived with food, scientific experiments and other supplies.
