Battalion 1 The North Bay Battalion have trimmed their preseason roster down to 28 players.

Some of the new forwards include 2015 3rd round pick Jacob Ball2013 4th rounder Brad Chenier, Justin Brazeau, Brock Perry, 2015 1st round import pick Max Kislinger, and Kyle Potts.

The returning group of forwards from last year’s team include; Mike Amadio, Brett McKenzie, Zach Poirier, Zach Bratina, Mike Bair, Owen Green, David Sherman, Calvin Gomes and overager Matt Santos.

Three newcomers are on defense including North Bay native Brady Lyle, the Troops’ first-round pick in the OHL Priority Selection in April, as well as Cam Dineen and Jake Ramalho.

The Troops are bringing back six veteran blue liners in Miles Liberati, Kyle Wood, Riley Bruce, Austin Kosack, Zach Shankar and Mark Shoemaker.

They also have three goalies still on the roster in Jake Smith, Jake Kment and rookie Mathew Woroniuk.

The Battalion are in Sudbury Sunday afternoon for their first exhibition game against the Wolves at 2pm.
