North Bay Police logoImproving community outreach is a focus for the North Bay Police Service says Chief Paul Cook.

He says they conducted a summer survey of residents who entered Police Headquarters and got their take on how they could improve their customer service. He says the results showed one change would be making criminal reference checks available online.

Cook adds going into the budget season they want to continue to get the public’s feedback on their service levels.

Cook says there are three upcoming Town Hall Meetings. Two will be in North Bay and the other in Callander.

He says they want to hear ideas on the upcoming police budget and he encourages everyone to attend.

The Town Hall Meetings will take place on Monday, September 28th, and Tuesday, September 29th in North Bay at the Legion on First Avenue. The one in Callander is also on the 28th and takes place at the Legion on Lansdowne Street.
