North Bay PoliceAn investigation into several recent incidents has led to numerous charges, including arson and mischief for a 19 year old man.

City police began their investigation after an animal cruelty and mischief complaint Saturday morning.

The investigation then linked to the recent breaking of a window at MPP Vic Fedeli’s office along with a fire at a residence in West Ferris and a fire at Omond Memorial United Church on McKenzie Avenue. 

On top of charges of arson causing damage to property and arson with disregard for human life, the man faces several other charges including five of mischief under $5,000, one mischief over $5,000, one criminal harassment and one animal cruelty charge.

The man’s name is not being released to protect the identity of the victim.
