Some local students are getting the chance to have their immunizations updated

The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit is holding school immunization clinics for grade 7 and 8 students.

The immunization clinics are running now through November 27th.

Officials say grade 7 students have the opportunity to be immunized against Hepatitis B and Meningitis.

Meantime, grade 8 girls have the option to be immunized against Human Papilloma Virus (HPV).

All students are required to have their Meningitis immunization to attend school.

Parents can visit myhealthunit.ca to find out when the Health Unit will be at their child’s school and download the consent forms they’ll need.
