Plenty of varsity sports this weekend

Both Nipissing and Canadore have a slate of games lined up this weekend, involving their various varsity teams.

In OUA men’s hockey, Nipissing entertains Ryerson at Memorial Gardens Friday night at 7 pm, then they host Toronto on Saturday night.

Also Saturday, the Lakers women’s hockey team plays Laurentian in Sudbury.

Both Nipissing basketball teams are home to York Friday, then Queen’s on Saturday.

Both of the Lakers volleyball teams take on York Saturday afternoon.

All three Canadore varsity teams are action this weekend.

In OCAA volleyball, both the Panther men and women play Durham Saturday afternoon.

The women are looking to extend their season opening 5-0 win streak.

Meantime the men’s basketball team at Canadore has two games on the road this weekend.

They play George Brown Saturday and Seneca on Sunday.
