Near North District School Board continues work on new Burks Falls school

The Near North District School board says this is year two of a three year transition to implement the Burk’s Falls Accommodation Review Committee recommendations.

July will see renovations begin at Land of Lakes Senior Public School.  The work is being done to accommodate junior kindergarten to grade 8 students from M.A. Wittick Public School which will close at the end of 2017.

This coming September Magnetewan Central, M.A. Wittick, South River and Sundridge Centennial public schools will become JK to grade 8 schools.
