Spokesperson Don Curry says the family includes a mom, dad and four boys.

They are expected to arrive later this week.

Curry says they are coming from Jordan.

The committee involved with supporting the relocation of two Syrian families to North Bay is meeting Wednesday to get ready for their arrival.

The city is also awaiting the arrival of a mother and her nine children who were expected to be coming first, however that’s not the case.

Further details on the family of six are expected after the committee meeting.
