Local Minister receives award

The Minister at Calvin Presbyterian Church has been honored.

Capt. Frances Savill received the top candidate award when she recently completed her Chaplain basic occupation qualification course at Canadian Forces Chaplain School at CFB Borden.

She is also a reservist chaplain with the Algonquin Regiment.

The award is presented to Capt. Savill by Paul Acton (left), Commandant of the Canadian Forces Chaplain School, and Brigadier-General Guy Chapdelaine, Chaplain General, in recognition of her “superior ability and knowledge in pastoral care and servant leadership” and her ability to meet “every challenge with confidence and resolve.”
