City Hall (some snow)Mayor Al McDonald says a Forest Fire Suppression facility at the Airport and job creation in northern Ontario were two main discussion points in Toronto yesterday (Monday).

McDonald is attending the Ontario Good Roads Association Conference and he says both meetings went well.

He says they need to find ways to bring individuals north, especially for skilled trades jobs.

As for today, he says there are more meetings planned.

McDonald says he will be meeting with more members of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry along with Michael Gravelle, the Minister of Northern Development and Mines.

He says they need to find ways to bring individuals who fit the needs of the workforce, including in the skilled trade labour jobs.
