The Law Enforcement Polar Plunge for Special Olympics went Sunday at the Waterfront Marina. The weather co-operated big time and plenty of people came out to watch 60 people take the plunge. Early estimates from Constable Merv Shantz of the North Bay Police Service have the event raising $17,000 with more money trickling in throughout the week.
