Battalion fans113,117 fans took in the 34 home games of the North Bay Battalion during the regular season.

The OHL club says total attendance was down 3.5 percent from the record 117,195 last year.

The Troops averaged 3,327 fans per game this season.

In a release, the team says a season-high crowd of 3,771 saw the Battalion defeat the Barrie Colts 3-2 via shootout Sunday in the last game of the schedule.

“We’re very appreciative of the continuing outstanding support of the fans in North Bay and area for the Battalion,” said owner Scott Abbott.We understand that the economy has faced a number of challenges in recent months, but we remain confident that they are being overcome.”

“We are honoured to represent North Bay throughout Ontario and beyond.”

Still to come is the playoffs with North Bay taking on Peterborough.

Tickets are available for game one on Friday night and game two on Sunday afternoon, both at Memorial Gardens.
