Tour For Humanity

Students from area high schools are learning and discussing some topics they may not have a chance to in school.

They include real-world heroes, the holocaust, universal genocide, cyber bullying and more.

They’ll learn and talk about those topics inside the Tour for Humanity bus, which is a mobile classroom currently touring the province.

Education Associate Elena Kingsbury says they get a positive reaction from those who participate in the workshop.

She says “they are extremely positive and receptive and just open to hearing about what we have to say.”

Kingsbury says the goal is to inspire and empower students to raise their voices and take action against hate to make the world a better place.

The bus is presented by the Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Centre for Holocaust Studies in Toronto.
