Lakers ink new recruit

The Nipissing Lakers Men’s Hockey Team has a new recruit. 

His name is Jeremy Butterworth.

He’s scored a total of 39 goals the last two seasons and he most recently played with Valley in the Maritime Junior League. 

Head Coach Mike McParland says Butterworth notched 107 points in 102 games including those 37 goals for the Wildcats in just over two seasons.

The Halifax native was signed to improve the teams offense which averaged 2.6 goals a game last season.
