Lakers volleyball player makes a national team

A member of the Nipissing Lakers Men’s Volleyball team has made a national squad.

Steve Wood has been named to Team Canada’s B squad and is the youngest team member.

He made the grade after performing in a selection camp on the weekend in Quebec.

He will take part in the Pan-American Cup in Mexico later this month.
