Metallica announced yesterday that they will host a series of pop-up shops in several cities they visit during their The WorldWired tour. The pop-up store series will begin with a Manhattan location, which will be open for the entire weekend ahead of their MetLife Stadium gig on Sunday, May 14th. Items that will be featured in the stores include hats, drink bottles, Metallica Monopoly, and backpacks, among other things. The band’s Toronto gig at Rogers Centre in Toronto on July 16th will also feature a pop-up store from July 14th to 16th, although the hours and exact location have yet to be announced.  The band’s stadium tour is also set to feature Avenged Sevenfold, Volbeat and Gojira.  Check out the complete story here.
