A Grade 7 student at W.J. Fricker Public School has received a plum appointment.

Michelle DeLoyde has been appointed to the Minister of Education’s Student Advisory Council.

She was one of 480 students to apply for 60 spots.

The students will meet twice during the next school year with the minister Mitzi Hunter.

The council provides student voice on ministry policies, programs and practices.
