Southbound lanes of Algonquin closed at Norwood for much of the week

A traffic note involving a major city artery.

The city is advising motorists that the southbound lanes of Algonquin Avenue from Greenwood to Reynolds will be closed until about 4 pm on Thursday.

It’s because crews are doing utility work.

The northbound lanes will remain open and stop signs will be set up at Algonquin and Norwood because the traffic lights will be inactive.

Norwood will also be closed, along with the westbound lanes of Lansdowne Ave from Ann to Algonquin.
