Never underestimate the power of music!

A crowd of mourners gathered in Manchester’s St. Ann’s Square earlier today to pay tribute to victims of the horrific terrorist attack which claimed the lives of 22 people and injured over 60 more at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester on Monday night.

Something special happened following a moment of silence, when a woman spontaneously began singing Oasis’ ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’.

Noel Gallagher who was born and raised in Manchester, forming the band Oasis there, tweeted out the video shortly after.

The Guardian’s Josh Halliday caught up with the woman to ask her what inspired the impromptu performance.
