A month to month decline in the Labour Market Group’s latest Job Vacancy Report for Nipissing, but that wasn’t the case when looking year to year.

April saw 407 job vacancies in Nipissing.

When looking at the month of March, that’s down nearly 13 percent.

However, it’s up 14 percent from April 2016.

Nearly 70 percent of the jobs that listed hours were full-time.

Sales and service occupations was the top occupational category.

HGS Canada, The Municipality of West Nipissing, Central Welding and Iron Works, Plan A Health Care Staffing Solutions and the YMCA were the top 5 employers posting vacancies.
