North Bay Fire Chief Jason Whiteley says there was a plane emergency at the Jack Garland Airport this morning.
” With three people on board they experienced smoke in the cockpit. They made an emergency landing. I don’t know if they were enroute to North Bay or had just left North Bay.”
He says anytime there’s a plane that has a mechanical malfunction or there’s a possibility that a plane could crash the fire department is contacted.

In this case they weren’t needed but they were there just in case.

There were no injuries.
