Christmas Day is one of nine stat holiday’s in Ontario and most retail and government offices will be closed tomorrow (Monday).

Fines for those who open illegally can range from $500 to $50,000.

There are some exceptions, including gas stations, convenience stores and tourist operators.

There are no city transit buses running tomorrow for Christmas Day and there’s no garbage or recycling pick-up either.

It will be delayed a day for the rest of the week, resuming on Boxing Day.
