Tues Jan 23:

  • ALL school buses across the Nipissing, East and West Parry Sound Districts are cancelled.  Schools remain open.
  • Due to inclement weather, Nipissing University is closed today, All classes, tests, exams and events are cancelled, and all buildings closed.
  • Canadore College has tweeted that all of their North Bay campuses are closed today due to weather, and will reopen tomorrow. They also said “Be safe out there today!”
  • Dreamcoat Fantasy Theatre’s presentation of Madagascar today’s shows will take place on Friday.
  • The Near North District School Board has rescheduled the grade 8 information sessions that were to take place this week. The new dates are February 6th at Widdifield Secondary School at 6:30, the following night at Chippewa at 6:30 and February 8th at West Ferris at 6 pm.
