Someone told me this morning that “you don’t win silver, you lose gold”.  Really?  This bothers me, and I’ll tell you why.  Our Olympians have made it to the highest level of competition in the world.  The fact that they are even competing for medals in Pyeongchang speaks volumes to their level of Team lost to the US in a 3-2 shoot out should not be cried over, it should be celebrated as a hell of a game.  It doesn’t make sense that we celebrate the silver medal win of Canadian Speed Skater Kim Boutin, but not the silver that the Canadian Women’s Hockey Team scored. It’s just not right.
