There will be a pickleball event next month at Nipissing University.

The Assante 101 open will be held on May 19th and 20th.

(ringette)

The West Ferris Ringette U19 team continues to raise funds to help defray the costs of competing at the Eastern Ringette Championship later this month in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

It’s the first time a local team has advanced to the event.

They’re holding a pasta dinner at the Shrine Club on Friday.

There’s also a silent auction, bake sale and cash bar. Check out the latest stories section of our website for more ((POST THIS TO WEB: Contact Kelli at 705-497-4856 for tickets or information)).
