Foo Fighters frontman, Dave Grohl says plans are in motion to record a new side project. Grohl, who played all instruments on the Foo Fighters debut album, plans to tackle a similar project with a 25-minute instrumental song.

“I have a studio, EastWest in LA, where I’m going to set up an expanse of instruments, film everything with multiple cameras, so by the end of it you will see and hear one song being played for 25 minutes, with six different Dave Grohls playing every note, on every single instrument, all the way through in one take.”

Grohl went on to say, “’If I want to write a 25-minute instrumental, write all the music, play all the instruments, film it and then, guess what, maybe never even release it? I’ll do it. Just because I can.”

No word yet on when Grohl plans to release this project but if it does happen, like most things Dave does, it will likely kick ass!
