North Bay Police say a 46 year old North Bay man has been charged with 4 counts of assault and one count of threatening.

Police say they received a report from a female regarding a domestic assault.

Upon investigation a number of other assaults and charges were laid.

In order to protect the identity of the victim, the North Bay Police Services say they will not be releasing the name of the accused.

A 21 year old city man is facing several charges including mischief under $5,000, threatening death or bodily harm, threatening property damage and assaulting a police officer.

Police say a man was asked to leave a residence in the Thibeault Terrace area but he returned and threats were made and damage was caused.

Police were called and the man left before they arrived.

Later while in police custody after being arrested an officer was assaulted but not physically injured.

Police say $10,000 in damage was done following a car fire at a residence on Highway 11 North.

Police say the fire started in a vehicle that was being restored and then spread to 2 adjacent vehicles.

North Bay Police say they’re investigating two incidents at car dealerships on Lakeshore Drive on Saturday morning.

Police say the suspect or suspects used an unknown tool to damage multiple vehicles causing $140,000 in damage.
