More details from city police after Tuesday morning’s fatal collision involving a pedestrian on Mountainview Drive.

The deceased has been identified as 55 year old Joseph Young.

Police say a vehicle travelling northbound on Mountainview Drive collided with a pedestrian.

They also say the driver remained on the scene and has been cooperative.

No charges have been laid.

The investigation continues.
