The North Bay Battalion selected 16 players in Saturday’s OHL Priority Selection.

With the 9th overall selection in the first round the Troops picked Centre Liam Arnsby (pictured) from the Don Mills Flyers.

He scored 70 points, including 21 goals and 49 assists for the Flyers.

With their next two picks the Battalion selected twins Paul and Alex Christopoulos.

Paul is a defenceman and Alex is a right winger.

Both played for Don Mills.

Overall, the Troops selected nine forwards, five defencemen and one goaltender, Owen Wray from the North Bay Minor Midget AAA Trappers.

Wray’s father Scott played for the Centennials and is a Battalion Assistant Coach.

Also of note, North Bay’s fourth pick was Justin Ertel.

His father Tyler played for the Centennials, while his grandfather Bob was a General Manager for the Cents, too.
