The Labour Market group held their annual job fair at the Grande Event Centre yesterday (Thursday).

Executive Director Stacie Fiddler says this event allows prospective employees to see what is available in a variety of industries. She says “as an example if you think of the North Bay Police, yes they are professional officers but they also have a variety of front line staff, administration staff, all those kinds of thinks.

Fiddler says they also saw there were people from different demographics attending the job fair, from students to those experienced workers who were looking for a change of pace in their careers.
