One of the major fundraisers for the Capitol Centre takes place Tuesday at Highview Golf Course.

It’s the 33rd annual Terry’s Golf Classic.

Caroline Parnell-Barry is the Marketing Director for the Capitol Centre.

She says there’s an increase in participation this year but there still some spots open.

She promises a fun day.

“We have a barbecue lunch at hole ten, a dinner buffet at Casey’s Grill Bar in the evening and live and silent auctions. So it’s a great day overall,” she says.

Parnell-Berry says if you want to play head out to the course and register your team. The shotgun start is at 11.

Parnell-Barry says there are plenty of prizes available including a $10,000 hole in one contest.

“We’ve also got tickets to the Havelock Country Jamboree, we’ve got tickets to Wooden Sticks Golf Course, one of the finest golf courses in Canada. We’ve got tickets for two, gas to get there and a great experience,” she says.

She says there’s also tickets to the Outlaw Music Festival featuring Willie Nelson, a Blue Jays game, Mattawa Voyageur Days, Dallas Smith, Dean Brody and the opening night for next season at the Capitol Centre.
