A 30 year old Bonfield man is facing several drug and driving related offenses including possession for the purpose of trafficking in cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and possession of property obtained by crime.

Police say on September 28th, OPP officers attempted to stop an eastbound vehicle for speeding on Highway 17 near Markstay-Warren.
The vehicle crashed into a ditch and hit a hydro pole.

The driver fled on foot.

Later on October 1st, officers located that driver in a Fisher Street parking lot.

Police say they seized a number of items including suspected Purple Heroin and Methamphetamine, a large amount of Canadian Currency, two prohibited knives and a collapsible baton.

Police also charged another male in the case with unauthorized possession of a weapon.

Two Bonfield males have been charged by OPP after a vehicle was stopped in the community.

A 33 year old Bonfield man has been charged with obstruct peace officer after a driver walked away from a vehicle after being charged with not having a licence.

Police say a 34 year old person walking with the first person was also charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of property obtained by crime.

Police say they located stolen credit cards and a small quantity of suspected methamphetamine.
