24 OHL players including Battalion forward Liam Arnsby will represent Canada at the 2019 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge set for Medicine Hat, Alberta and Swift Current, Saskatchewan next month.

The players chosen will help make up Team Canada Black, Team Canada Red and Team Canada White at the event.

The squads will compete against the Czech Republic, Finland, Russia, Sweden and the United States for gold.

Arnsby’s OHL coach Stan Butler thinks Arnsby’s a great selection.

“We’re real happy he’s going to get that opportunity to represent Team Canada. Last year, he represented Team Ontario, played on the top line and did a great job,” he says.

Butler says is very physically strong for his age and does a lot of little things that the fans may not see but the coaches do.
