The Conservation Authority says snow depth is still above average, but it’s well below where it was last year at this time.

In 2018 there was nearly 23 cm of snow.

Officials say the average snow depth for it’s three reading stations in North Bay, Corbeil and Chisholm, taken on Friday, is 13.5 cm

It’s over 9 cm shy of where it was last year at this time, but it’s still 150 percent of normal for this time of year.

Water content in the snow has increased because of rain and warmer weather in the past couple weeks.

It’s nearly three times the average.
