The Stooges are planning to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their album Fun House with a massive box set.

The set will include 15 LPs, two 7-inch singles featuring Down On The Street + I Feel Alright, a live performance from 1970 in New York City, and a 28-page book of rare photos and liner notes. In addition to an essay by Henry Rollins, the book will also include notes from Duff McKagan, Joan Jett, Flea, Tom Morello, Steven Van Zandt, and more.

Lastly, the box set will include posters, a vinyl slipmat, and a 45 adapter.

Many consider Fun House to be the quintessential “proto-punk” album, inspiring the likes of Nirvana, The Sex Pistols and Jack White.

The fully remastered box doesn’t come out until July 17 but is available for pre-order HERE.
