North Bay Police say someone broke into a Main Street West business in the 200 block early this morning. Police say entry was gained when the culprit broke a window in a door.

That activated an alarm which caused the person to retreat and leave the premises.

Police say the suspect is described as being a male of smaller stature and was wearing tight fitting dark coloured pants, a grey zip hoodie and a white ball cap.
Nothing was stolen in the incident.

Meantime, North Bay Police have posted on their website a list of tips that can assist businesses with their crime prevention programs.
