Sportsnet’s Blue Jays Central Host Jamie Campbell is on a good will mission for Conquer COVID-19.

He headed north from Toronto Thursday morning with a special delivery for North Bay, Timmins and Sudbury.

“I have a car full of PPE, which stands for Personal Protective Equipment, for frontline workers, doctors, nurses, paramedics,” he says. “I’ve got a supply for the hospital in North Bay that I’ll be dropping off, probably stopping and having a little bit of lunch, and onward I go to Timmins.”

Campbell says he reached out to Conquer COVID-19 because he wanted to volunteer.

“I’m in touch with people in the medical field up in Northern Ontario, I think I need to do something about this so I’m willing to help, they moved mountains to help me to do this,” he says.

That includes a donated Volvo to get the donated PPE here.
