North Bay Police are looking for a suspect after a robbery involving a handgun last night.

Police say officers responded to an apartment building in the 2400 block of Trout Lake Road last night around 8:30 pm.

A female victim said she let a person into her apartment thinking she was a personal support worker.

A black handgun was pointed at her with several bank cards and prescription medication stolen.

The suspect is described as female, slightly over 5′ tall with a slim build.

She had blonde hair that was in a bun at the time and was wearing black glasses, a medical mask, teal coloured jacket, black gloves and was carrying a pink backpack.

She was seen heading towards Connaught Avenue.

Police are looking to identify the suspect in the pictures acquired from the scene security camera.  (See submitted photos below)

They say the suspect had a black handgun and should not be approached.
