A unique fundraiser in late July

A unique fundraiser will be taking place later this month.

On July 29th at 4:30, the North Bay Regional Health Centre’s Dr. Ravinder Singh is raising funds by cooking some Indo-Jamaican Fusion Cuisine on zoom.

All the money raised will support Regional Aboriginal Mental Health Services and the Urgent Care Fund for COVID-19.

Kendra Clarke of the North Bay Regional Health Centre foundation says it’s quite the meal.

“We’ve got Tandoori Jerk Chicken Tikka Masala in Banana Coconut Curry, Indo-Jamaican Rice, Spicy Pineapple Mint Salad, Banana Cucumber Mint Yogurt and Naan Glazed with Garlic Butter and Parsley,” she says.

She says Dr. Singh will match the donations up to $10,000.
