Results of survey on closing Main Street released

Downtown North Bay has released the results of a survey on closing Main Street to traffic.

DIA Board Chair Michelle Trudeau says half of the 50 responses they received supported possibly weekends only,

32 % were against the idea and 18 % would support the plan.

She says many costs and resources would have to be used for street closures.

She says they would also have to follow physical distancing protocols set out by the government so there won’t be any closures at this time.
