Capitol Centre's 'shared benefit' summer concert series continues tonight

Another shared benefit concert goes tonight on the Capitol Centre Facebook page.

11:11 is performing.

Two former members of the acoustic trio WE-R-3 have come together to bring you 11:11.

After the passing of the late Alanna Weder, Ashley Di Benedetto and Kyle Selle took a mourning period and then decided to continue playing music.

Kyle told BayToday they wanted to honour Alanna by having a number in the group’s name.

“We kind of done that as a tribute to Alanna. The 11:11 is a good luck number. You make a wish at 11:11 brings good luck,” he says.

Kyle says it’s great to be included into a program that supports the Capitol Centre because it means so much to the city.

“It showcases a lot of local talent because North Bay has an abundance of local talent. The musicians in this town are second to none,” he says.

Online donations will be shared between the Capitol Centre and the artists.
