An incident in a parking lot on Cassells Street Friday afternoon has led to weapons and drug charges for a 19 year old city man.

North Bay Police say after words were exchanged a man held up a knife and made threatening comments towards an adult male.

The victim then called police, who say the accused retrieved a paint ball gun and fired paint balls at the man’s vehicle before leaving the scene.

He was arrested a short distance away.

A paintball gun, a kitchen knife, Xanax pills and a small quantity of suspected purple fentanyl was seized by police.

 

Meantime, city police have charged three North Bay residents, ages 30 to 33, with drug possession for the purpose of trafficking after a vehicle stop Friday night.

Police say the vehicle was driving on the bypass, near O’Brien Street, around 9 pm Friday when it was pulled over.

The driver is also charged with impaired (drug).

The investigation resulted in the seizure of;
– 6.6 grams of suspected fentanyl
– 2.7 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine
– 1.2 grams of suspected cocaine
– Canadian Currency totaling $3,735.00

The total street value of the drugs located was estimated to be $3,280.00
