City police say 45-thousand dollars worth of suspected fentanyl has been seized after a search of a residence on the 500 block of McIntyre Street East yesterday evening (Tues).

Four people are facing charges, including two from North Bay and two from Oshawa.

An unknown white powdery substance that is currently being analyzed was also seized.

Police say the continued cooperative efforts of the North Bay Police Street Crime Unit and OPP Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau resulted in the search.

(trespass)

A 40 year old city man is facing trespassing at night, theft under and breach counts after a complaint of someone lurking in a local backyard last night.

Police say a First Avenue West resident was notified by his home video surveillance system that someone was in the backyard.

A chair and a metal plant holder were taken.

Police say the accused was stopped a short distance away with officers arriving and making an arrest.
