North Bay Police A 24 year old North Bay man facing charges following a weekend incident.

Police say the charges were laid following a collision.

The male has been charged with failing to stop at the scene of an accident, three counts of Breach of probation and careless driving under the Highway Traffic Act. Police say early on Saturday morning a vehicle with 3 people on board was on Mountainview Dr. when it lost control, rolled over and landed back on the vehicle’s wheels.

Both passengers sustained non life threatening injuries and fled on foot.

The driver drove the damaged vehicle away. Both passengers and the driver were later located.

Overall, Police say it was a busy weekend with 202 calls for service and 11 people charged for several offenses including mischief under $5,000, failing to stop at the scene of an accident, careless driving, theft under $5,000 and public intoxication.
