Brandi Carlile and Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl surprised fans on Saturday, when they showed up for an impromptu busking performance at Seattle’s Pike Place Market. As seen in footage posted online, the musicians posted up at the entrance of the iconic farmer’s market and performed a cover of The Beatles’ “Let It Be” and an acoustic version of Grohl’s “Times Like These.” Carlile alerted fans to the Saturday pop up jam session by broadcasting a few minutes of it live on her Facebook page. She later posted an Instagram photo from the gig, saying, “Got nostalgic and decided to swing by my old busking spot at Pike Place Market with the twins and Dave Grohl…honestly one of the most surreal moments of my life.
