101.9 ROCK presents Whitehorse on Tuesday, November 5th at the Capitol Centre.  Formed in 2010, the band is made up of husband and wife duo Luke Doucet and Melissa McClelland.  Earlier this year they released their new album The Northern South Vol. 2, featuring covers of Howlin’ Wolf, Jimmy Reed, Willie Dixon and Slim Harpo songs.  I had the chance to talk to Luke last week and asked him about  how they came up with the name, why their harmonies are so damn good and what fans can expect at the show this week.  The audio clips can be found below these two videos from Whitehorse.

I asked Luke about the origin of the band name.

Here Luke discusses the pair’s incredible harmonies.

His thoughts on working together as husband and wife?

How do they pick the songs they cover?

What can fans expect at The Capitol Centre show this week?
