A 28 year old Sturgeon Falls man has been charged after a motorist on an e-bike disobeyed a stop sign and attempted to flee from police.
Police say the e-bike did not have a chain, making it impossible to use the pedals, therefore making it modified, now rendering it a motor vehicle.
Police seized brass knuckles and knives once the vehicle was stopped.
The charges include flight from peace officer and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
