Will traffic to a Battalion game be impacted by construction

An update on the Ferguson Street construction project and how it may impact traffic on Battalion game days. Ferguson is closed to traffic from Princess Street to Chippewa until the project is done in early November.

Mayor Al McDonald says they only allow parking on one side of Ferguson, so it’s only a reduction of about 15 parking spots in that area until the work is done.

He also says Chippewa Street is open for traffic in both directions and there’s no change to parking on all side streets.

Meantime, pedestrians will be able to walk to Memorial Gardens on Ferguson through the construction area.

Also of note, the Ferguson Street construction project is on time and on budget.
