???????????????????????????????Another successful Blue Box Food Drive this past weekend.

The North Bay Food Bank and Miller Waste were able to collect over 4,100 pounds of food on Saturday.

This marks the beginning of Hunger Awareness Week.

From September 21st-25th Canadians are challenged to learn more about the issue of hunger and to take action.

Since 2008, Food Banks Canada reports nearly 850,000 Canadians turn to food banks every month.

In North Bay, the Food Bank has already assisted 9,500 residents in need this year. That’s over 5,300 households.

The North Bay Food Bank takes donations all year round and are located at 1016 Fisher Street.
